Here at Windego Kennel we have been raising dogs for over 15 years, we pride ourselves in producing the best dog possible for both family companions and as a working dog. All of our dogs are hand raised from the time they are born until the time that they go to your home. We feel that this ensures them to be the best well rounded companion. Our kennel resides near a small town called Glencoe, here we have hobby farm for the dogs with fenced areas for the puppies and dogs to exercise in. All of the runs have plastic swimming pools for them to play in and stay cool, along with lots of trees to run around. This makes a perfect home environment for us to raise AKC registered Rottweilers and Treeing Walker Coonhounds. We compete with our dogs on a local and national level and have been very successful in winning numerous titles. Both of these breeds have a different purpose but they have a special place in our hearts. I myself have been competing with these dogs since I was ten and I have loved every minute of it. Now that my brother and sisters are starting to do the same has made our kennel a completely well rounded family oriented kennel. We hand select all of our breeding stock to ensure that we breed for the most well rounded specimen of the breed. We are currently trying to bring in all German/European bloodlines with all the certifications done on them and throughout there pedigree. Our dogs are not just show or breeding dogs they are our family companions and all are housebroken, obedience trained, OFA Certified, CERF's Current, Heart and Cardio Clear. We take our dogs to many different community functions from Game Fair to the County Fair to the local schools all to keep them socialized and continue to promote that Rottweilers are not mean nor are they bad dogs but they are excellent family pets and companions. Ultimately we want to produce the Ultimate Rottweiler for both working, show, and pets who are well rounded in all aspects. We breed for Conformation, Intelligence, Working Ability, and Temperament.

We have purchased a new import "Ghana" from Alexsandar of Iron Lion Rottweilers, please check out the news page for more information. She will be arriving her bred to "Gizo vom Grossen Tal" a son of "Filou." We have also purchased "Tille" from Randi's Rotts she too is going to make a wonderfull addition to our kennel and family. Tille will be bred to out "Fritz" as soon as she comes into heat which should be around the end of August. Thank you Randi and Alexandar for allowing us to purchase these two wonderful females.

Family Photography

We take family portraits whether that be just your yearly family photo, a wedding, graduation, pictures, school pictures, or just for no special reason other than to get a picture of the family together. We offer numerous packages in a wide variety of price ranges. We also take action/candid photos, like your kids like to race dirt bikes, 4 wheelers, ride horses, or just play sports. Pet Photography

Your beloved four legged family member needs some good portraits too. Being that we are a kennel we know how long it takes and the time involved in getting good pictures of your pet. We offer just normal sittings and we also offer packages by time frame. By time frame I mean if you want us to come and spend 8 hours with you while your at your home or out at a county park or wherever that may be taking pictures of your pet in an environment that is comfortable to them that is what we do. Some pets will be more comfortable meaning that they will take better pictures that look more like there everyday personality if they are where they feel safe rather than someplace new or different.

We also offer action photographs of those of you who have hunting or working breeds and want pictures of them in action. If you want a in the moment picture of your pointer doing what he or she does best, or your lab jumping off the dock, or your collie herding your sheep. These kind of pictures last for a lifetime and that's priceless.
