Hi Alyssa,
This is me, Dante! I’m very happy in my new home and mom says I’m growing up to be such a handsome and sweet guy! I’ve been very busy, going to school and learning how to be a good boy. I met the cutest husky named Sasha in my last class, and we became best friends, but man does she have a lot to say. I had to get separated from her during class because she got me into trouble a couple of times mostly because she talks so much that it distracted me from paying attention. I mean isn’t it rude not to pay attention if someone is talking to you? Do you know why girls talk so much?
Anyway, mom took my picture at my graduation class and she thought that you might like to see how well I’m growing up. This is me at 6 months – tell my dad Fritz and my mom Noble that I’m going great and maybe they can work on making me a baby brother or sister!
Love

Hello Alyssa:
First of all, congrats on Baby Owen!! He is a handsome boy!
I have great news about Britta. She received her AKC Canine Good Citizen award
on Friday :) ! I located an evaluator on AKC's website and she just happened
to be a Rottie owner as well. She adored Britta and gave me a private lesson
to prepare for the test.
Britta and I go to obedience training at Bloomington Obedience Training Club
almost every week. She is so-o-o smart and does everything so well. We are
doing Novice classes right now. She is so fun to work with and wants to please.
She is the best Rottie I've owned. Not only is she smart, she is so beautiful,
and she has a great temperament. I took her to horse shows with me all summer.
She loves to ride in the truck with me and hang out at the horse stalls. Everyone
who sees her comments on how gorgeous she is. I have people ask me all the
time where I got her, so hopefully I'm sending future Rottie owners to you!
Take care! I will send a picture of her soon.

Hi Alyssa,
All is well with Saber. I think you knew him as “the green male”. It was a sad scene as we drove east away from Brownton and he stood up to the back window of our truck yelping while looking at the road behind us. However, I attached a picture to show you that he has bonded strongly with our wiener dog who looks like a mini, stretched out version of him. We had a vet out for his 16 week check and everything looked great. We wanted to thank you for whatever potty training you did with him because when we got him he really knew where he was supposed to go. I could count the accidents he has had in the house on one hand. We have a trainer coming out to work with him (and us) weekly. He is a very intelligent puppy and we are very glad we made the trip out to get him.
Thank you,
Erik Helberg

Hey Alyssa! Hope all is going well with your family, especially the baby! Well, our baby Sigmund(Sig) is doing very well! He is very smart, and right now, very defiant! He has tolerated our 3yr olds “manhandling” very well, and is very tolerant! We have had him on the food and vitamins from Life’s Abundance from day one.
Thanks! Nikki and Mike Halda

Here are a few pics, one of them has her playmate Ruger and
another with Ruger and Macie( a friends female Rott) Her training is turning
out great, very attentive. The last two months, she has steadily increased,
showing me more concentration, thus pushing to the next level of training.
Social skills are fabulous, taking them to festivals, weekly street partys,
all town outings, swimming with kids at the river and the like. She is, what
we think, a perfect representation of the breed. Please send or get me in
contact with the others in her litter as we would love to see their pics.
Thanks
Anthony

Hello,
My name is Kaylan Nelson and Lena D'Andrea picked up an adorable little puppy
for us on Friday. He's absolutely amazing! We took him to the vet yesterday
and it went very well. We're starting training classes with him soon and I
think he'll be a great service dog! I've attached a few pictures for you!
Sincerely,
Kaylan

Hi Alyssa,
Wanted to send you a quick note. First, congratulations on the birth of your
son!!!! He looks adorable from the pictures on FB.
We all are doing well and Sasha has completed 24 weeks of training and is
amazing and super smart. She just turned 1 year old on July 7th. She just
got weighed last week and is 90 lbs. She is growing nicely and looks so beautiful
as she is maturing. Thanks so much for this wonderful dog.
Best,
Susan Sima

Hey Alyssa,
I have been meaning to do this for so long! I can't tell you how happy we
are with our baby and by now you have had yours :) I hope all went very well
in that department, congratulations!
To refresh your memory, Rach and I bought the first 2 males of your January
3rd litter. Our boys are doing just fantastic and love seeing each other.
Her's tends to be a bit more beefy than ours but both very handsome. We both
are complimented on them often and many ask where we got them. We tend to
go on and on about our experience with the breeders and you may be hearing
from a couple of them at some point.
While we named him Rambo, I could only call him Honey Boy for the first couple
months. While Rambo fits him great I now tend to call him Bubba. He is sweet
and chill and we couldn't love him more. His sister Des has been great with
him, only a handful of impatient or possesive snaps at him, her warning has
always been sufficient even though he takes it pretty hard. He shadows me
everywhere I go even if just for a few moments and is rarely naughty. My boys
are as in love with him as I and can't seem to go by him without loving him
up which is great because as cool teenagers they don't snuggle with me anymore
and touch is so important especially after the tough year we had. Rambo definitely
eased some of the sadness and Rambo was my husbands favorite character/movie
so it all fits nicely.
The first picture is the "first picture" that I took when we pulled
in to the garage from your house. We have tons but I am just sending a few
favorites. My favorite memory of him as a baby will always be when he would
nurse in his sleep, it was the most precious thing ever and did it quite a
bit. He just learned how to shake last week, I haven't spent a lot of time
teaching tricks. He loves his vitamin every morning and sits so sweet waiting,
he thinks it is a very special treat, my Dobie not so much. He has been to
see the kids I work with at school a few times and has swam in the pool but
only if I coax him.
Last month, he gave me quite a scare one hot day. I couldn't find him for
two and a half hours. After looking franticly and making calls to animal control
and police, I found him on my fifth trip through each room of the house. We
have a closet under the stairs of a split level and I had gone in there to
look for something not knowing he had followed me and I shut him in. I had
not even opened that door since before Christmas but when I looked at inadvertently
I thought "no way". I opened the door and he picked his head up
to look at me and then got up in the biggest stretch ever like no big deal,
yeah I guess I'll come out now. We yelled and clapped each time we searched
the house but I guess he was comfortable. Des would have lasted not even 2
minutes before letting us know she was in there.
I always check out the new litters and was glad to see Dig got it right :)
Hope all is well with your new family and wish you all my best.
Karen, boys & Rambo

Good morning Alyssa!
I wanted to send you these long ago, but didn't get to it. As soon as I
download newer ones, I will send you those. The big handsome dude is our 8
year
old, Bear.
Brick is now almost 40 lbs and he is soooooo sweet and lovable! Of coarse
he is
kissed and held more than any dog should be.
He is so handsome that even at the vet the entire staff has to come see "the
cutest puppy ever"! In fact, the vet tech wanted info about your kennel
so you
may hear from another from our neck of the woods.
I can't thank you enough for everything. We are so in love!!

Dear Alyssa,
I want to first start off by apologizing for not contacting you earlier on
the condition of the rottweiler you sold to me in August last summer. He is
a phenomenal animal and a absolute great addition to our growing family! I
named him "ROWDY" because of his sometimes mischievous behavior
but he is a great dog with lots of character. He has made the transition well
to living up in the mountains here in Wyoming and has been taken under the
wing of my one year old boxer "TUFF" and they get along great. Rowdy
is a loving and very affectionate puppy he loves to be loved on and is great
with the little kids in my family. He is pound for pound the strongest animal
i have ever owned and the most loyal and protective as well. I probably should
have named him "DOZER" though for his inept ability to re-arrange
the furniture when he's lost his ball under a couch or chair and the fact
if he wants attention he's not afraid to knock you off balance to let you
know. As far as his temperament goes he fits the bill exactly he is very protective
and just this fall went toe to toe with a BIG doe mule deer trying to run
him out of our pasture with her two young ones and her intimidation won out
against the boxer but the rottweiler wasn't having any of it and before i
knew it he was heeling the BIG doe deer like a border collie working sheep!
I was to astonished to say the least! As far as his medical record goes Rowdy
is a very healthy and large puppy. He weighs about 95 pounds and stands a
little above my knee and I know it is because of his outstanding genetics.
I would like to commend you on your superior animals and thank you again for
such a great friend you have allowed me to have. I would like to end with
saying that with your world class operation and the animals that i have seen
just with this one that i will only buy my future companions from WINDEGO
KENNEL!!
Thanks Again,
Colton Lenz - Sundance, Wyoming
P.S.
-- I hope you get used to seeing Wyoming plates because everyone that has
seen this magnificent animal wants one and they know the only place to get
one is at your kennel. Thanks again and ill send you pictures as soon as i
upload the last of Rowdy working the Bulls in the shoots!

Hi Alyssa,
Here is a picture of Bebe, from December. She loves this chair, but doesn't
fit in it too well anymore.
She is 7 months old now, and weighs 78 lbs!! She is huge! We love her to pieces!!
Thank you for such a wonderful girl!

Hello Alssya:
Here is a photo of Britta. She is a beautiful dog, although she is a little
more dog than we wanted. She is very, very smart and has excelled in her obedience
classes. She sits, stays, heels, waits, and downs all without the lease. We
have completed Puppy Kindergarten, Puppy Plus, and Obedience 1, and she has
been one of the best dogs in the classes. Next week we start Intermediate
Obedience and I am working on getting her AKC Good Citizen award. She also
knows how to Shake, High-Five, and Take a Bow. She weighs 90 pounds at 10
months.
Hope you are well. I look at your website all of the time to look at all of
the adorable puppies. They are so cute!
I will look into the dog food. I have been feeding Nutra Source based on your
initial recommendation.
Take care.

Hi Alyssa,
Dottie is doing just wonderful! She's only 10 months old and she already looks full grown. At her last checkup they said she was only 62 pounds, but I could have sworn she'd be at least 75 pounds! DuWayne and I had just gotten back from a writer's workshop in Key West and we'd put her in the kennel. This picture is from that night we picked her up and brought her back home. I think she was happy to be home!!!
The second picture was taken about a month before Christmas at about 8 months. She loves playing in the snow! Our neighbors have a dog, Zues, who likes to run the fence line with her.
She is absolutely beautiful, perfect in fact. Exactly what we were looking for. If she has any "faults" it would have to be that she doesn't bark! I personally think that's a good thing. LOL!!! She only barks when something scares her. Just the other day DuWayne was using an electric screw driver and it scared the crap out of her! She was definitely not the kind of dog you want to meet in a dark alley somewhere! We've decided that when Michaela starts dating next year, we're going to pull out the electric screw driver just before the boy comes to the door to pick her up!!!
We always are very careful with her around Casey, who's now 2, and JD who's almost 7. She will do anything JD tells her! A couple days ago Dottie was chewing on her bone. She's not supposed to have them outside of her crate, but she snuck it out. Casey walked right up to her and took it out of her mouth!!! That's a therapy dog in the making!
Hope all is good with you!
Thanks,
Robin

Hello Alyssa!
My husband and I purchased a puppy from you last April. His name is Mack,
and he is a joy to have in our lives! I have attached a few pictures for you.
Mack is now almost one year old & his sister Rigley(4) is having some
trouble trying to keep up with him! He spent many weekends last summer up
at the lake trying to figure out if he likes to swim... or if he just does
it because he wants to follow his mom!
He has been through puppy kindergarten & basic obedience 1. This spring
we will continue with obedience 2 & then I am hoping to get him into agility!
He was introduced to agility in puppy kindergarten, but obviously we have
to wait until he is over 1 year to start him in a class. Mack was neutered
at 8 months, you can contact me if you would like the paperwork or for any
other reason. Of course I think that he is the most beautiful Rottie in the
world... but I am a little biased. Thank you again!

Jackson is doing really well. He weighs around 55lbs and healthy per the vet. He likes to chase the cat, play with his orange ball. He really doesn't like being out in the cold weather. He is turning out to b a good protector of me, he likes car rides and homemade peanut butter treats.

Alyssa,
We will send some photos soon... but do want to tell you how much we LOVE Dakota! He is the best friend a family could have. He has a sweet personality and is a beautiful fellow.
We have done a lot with him, relative to his training and socialization. He also participates in a "dog pack" daily under the watchful care of our marvelous "Alpha Dog" walker. This gentleman is similar to the Dog Whisperer. Dakota runs with other dogs (large and small) in some of Seattle's finest dog parks!
Dakota, also fondly known as "The Mister", gets along famously with our two smaller dogs (Miniature Schnauzer, Maggie; and Cairn Terrier, Toto) as well as all our friends.
He is our joy. We are so thankful that he was available for us to meet and take home on Thanksgiving weekend with my Minneapolis friend, Kathy.
With best regards,
Mariel Kagan

Hi Alyssa!
Here are some pics. They were taken about 2 months ago. Fritz is doing well!!
He gets along so well with our son, they almost tolerate each other too well
sometimes! We just had his checkup a couple weeks ago and he was at 117lbs
I believe. Nothing more exciting than that I guess!

Alyssa,
I just wanted to send you an update on Pixie.. She has brought so much joy to our family. We cant imagine what life was like before we got her. On her last 18 week check up she is 35 LBS! She’s going to be a big beautiful girl!
So far we have completed our first set of puppy classes ( which she was tops in her class to say the least) She is so smart and easy to train. We will be starting level two in the next 2 weeks. Also she is now all up to date on her shots and we are looking forward to going to the many dog parks in and around the city.
Also, we are looking forward to the arrival of our boy (the repeat breed of Pixi and Kuno), not only to be her play mate, but another wonderful addition to our family.
I also want to thank you Alyssa for all your help, you have been so honest and helpful. I cant tell you enough how much we appreciate you and your advise.
Thanks again.. and hopefully, we will be talking to you soon about Truce! (our boy)

Hi Alyssa!!
Here are some pictures of Chief...
He is growing so fast! Everyday it seems like he's getting bigger!
He finished his social training class and is in an obedience class for a few
weeks.... He's doing so well! He picks everything right up... unfortunately
he's too smart for his own good... and he once in awhile listens when he wants
too. You can see in one of the pictures, I called his name and he kinda looked.
He has quiet a personality!
Thank you so much for all you have done for us and helped with!
I will send you more pictures and videos soon!

Dear Alyssa,
Sorry I haven't kept in better touch with you. I haven't
been well this past year.
Schotzi has been a wonderful nurse and companion. SHe seems
to know when I need more help than she can give and always
sees that Richard comes to my aid.
We love our Schhotzi very much. WE have changed vets as we
moved. we had a bad car wreck with our van in July Schotzi
was at home so she is just fine. Richard had minor injuries
and I had a pretty bad concussion. I had to spend some time
in the hospital.
schotzi likes to talk to me on the phone when I'm not home.
wHen I am home she likes to lick my legs and my face, hands,
anything else she can reach. RIchard calls her mommy's big
teddy bear. SOmetimes I think she's the mommy, or she does
anyway.
The vet says she's a little heavy, but in very good health.
NO worms, no fleas, no ticks just 120 pounds of dog.
Haven't had a chance to take more pictures. She still looks
like she did last time. I"ll send pictures when I get some.
YEs I think she's better than
everybody else. AFter all, she's my baby. SHe still sleeps
with us, or I should say, we sleep with her. She thinks the
bed is hers.

and, of course, Schotzi

Just a quick update for now - I need to send pictures. Britta is a great
puppy. She stays near the house, likes the horses, and is the SMARTEST Rottie
I've owned. She learned how to shake at 14 weeks. I took her to all of my
horse shows and puppy kindergarten so she is very socialized. She loves people
and is good with other dogs. She starts puppy plus class and I expect her
to be at the top of her class as she already knows sit, down, wait, stay,
and stand. We had her spayed mid September and then took her on vacation with
us to the Black Hills.
I do have to work with her every day as she is all puppy right now. She loves
to jump on everyone and everything! She is also very mouthy so I try to keep
a bone in her mouth all the time. And she plays rough by circling me and then
jumps up and nips me. Not sure how to prevent that right now other than a
mild shock collar, so if you have any tips, that would be helpful.
Everywhere I take her people tell me what a beautiful dog she is. I always
get comments about how well bred she is. A great tribute to you and your dogs.
Thanks,
Kathy Koehler

Chopper is doing great! He is huge! He loves kids which is a good thing because
we have 6 of them. He loves to be around the family, he loves other dogs and
only seems to get upset is when he cant be in the same room as the kids (when
they lock him out of their room). He is not a chewer, he is potty trained
which was easy. We just love him. He is the baby of the house but at only
9 months old he thinks he's the man when my husband Steve isn't home. He is
already a protector with a fierce bark!
Hope all is well!

Alyssa & Tasha~
All's well in puppy land! Thing have been on the upswing ever since we got
her to finally start eating! Our schedules have made it so that someone is
home most of the time which has been awesome not to have to kennel her for
hours during both the day and night. She and Tanner, our golden retriever,
get along great and love to play. And like our vet says... it's so much better
if other dogs teach them how to play then you teaching them how to play because
it turns out those puppy teeth sure do hurt! Kira loves to play outside, rummage
thru the woods, is learning how to play fetch and has learned a few key commands
like sit, kennel, come... we're still working on stay and lay down.
We've been amazed how quickly she's grown (~25lbs) and how quickly her adult
fur has started to grow in. All of the puppy fur seems to have shed and she's
starting to get a wave to her coat. She's got a ton of personality, is very
curious, and aims to please. Neighbors and friends all love her and even stop
on the side of the road to come pet her! We've attached a few pictures - the
first two were from mid-April, the last from about a week ago. Thanks so much
for staying in touch and we'll make sure to send more pictures from the summer.
Best wishes for your summer and upcoming litters,
Sara and Brandon

Hey Alyssa,
Just thought I'd pass along a few pictures seeing as we are coming up on
year one. it's been a great year and we couldn't be happier with our pup,
kira. she has tons of personality and steals the show where ever she goes.
everyone who sees her falls in love with her looks, especially her tail. i
don't think many people have seen a rottie with a full tail. just wanted to
thank you both again and hope all is well.

Alyssa,
Stella is doing very, very well. She's extremely smart and has a very even-keeled
temperament. She has been very easy to train. We're spending a lot of time
with her and introducing her to many different people and dogs -- she loves
it! We started puppy kindergarten last Monday and she was the star of the
class. We're taking her down to Julie's parent's house in Stillwater today
to play with their dog, Brutus. We're having a great time with her. Thanks
again! Stella is an outstanding dog. I'll send you photos soon and will keep
you updated.

Alyssa,
Just wanted to give you an update. Diesel is doing great! He has such a personality
and I swear sometimes he thinks he's a person. He likes to sit on things as
if it's a chair. (I attached a pic) He gets along great with our lab and they
couldn't be more playful with each other. Anytime the doorbell rings or he
hears a sound he doesnt know, he's sure to let out a bark and proceeds to
check things out. He's not as big and bad as he thinks though because all
you have to do is pull out the laundry basket and he's running the other way!
He's very lovey and licks everyone he meets! We're very pleased with him and
wouldn't trade him for anything! Thanks Alyssa!

How is everything with you? We have been talking about getting a puppy, and
we would love to get it from you. It will probably be a little while though.

would love to hear from you! Oh, and we have plenty more pic's if you would

Hi Alyssa, Stash is doing very well, we love him to pieces! He weighs 120 lbs now! He absolutely loves the snow as you can tell by the attached picture. He likes to have the snow thrown on him when we're shoveling. In the mornings when Rob leaves for work he gets to come upstairs and sleep in bed with me till I get up... very spoiled!
Talk to you soon,

Alyssa,
Good afternoon. I just wanted to say hi and thanks for a wonderful addition to our lives. Zuzu is now 11 months old and doing very well. She is full of spunk and love. Just got her weighed two weeks ago and she is now 105lbs. She was neutered on 7/11/2008 by Pets First Veterinary Center in Bryn Mawr , PA. I do have receipts however I have no way to get them to you unless we mail the originals. I have attached a few of her photos so you can see her progress. Thanks again.

Alyssa,
I meant to write you sooner, but been very busy. Beavis is such a sweetheart. I cant wait to get home from my job to be with her. She grew like a weed. She now weighs 78 pounds. She loves to get a hold of my hat and does not want to give it back. She is so much fun. I enjoy her so much and everyone thinks she is so pretty. She is a very friendly dog which is good too.
Love,
Loren & Beavis

Hi Alyssa,Just thought I'd send you a photo of Strider. Gotta tell you a story about him. Recently my daughter who along with her husband are dairy farmers was talking to me about one of there registered Jerseys who had gotten so sick that the Vet had given up on her and she was dying. I asked her if I could save her could I have her? She asked her father in law and he said sure if he wants to come and get her so she can die at his place fine. I'm a Naturopathic doctor and therefore do things quite differently from a standard Vet. When we got her home she was so weak that we had to let her sleep in the trailer the first night. In the morning she was not willing to get up and Strider was watching from outside the trailer. We had been trying to get her up for about ten minutes when he jumped in the trailer and started bobbing and weaving in front of her face, kinda gently kniping at her ears until she got so darn mad at him she got up. When we got her into the barn he laid down next to her and didn't want to leave her. His genetic imprinting told him exactly what he was supposed to do in a situation like this. He continued to help us get her up for the next few days until she got stronger. She also had one teet that my daughter said was so damaged that even if she did live it would never give milk again. He licked at that teet until he got it to open up and drain. We used homeopathic's, probiotics, and essential oils to help her get well, but without Strider I don't think she would have made it. Great dog in many other ways as well. We love him dearly! Thanks! Steve Fjerstad

Hi Alyssa,
He is doing fantastic! His name is Strieder (King of Gondor)
and he weighs about 75 to 80 pounds now. We have found him to be extremely
intelligent and easy to train. First command he learned was "nice".
He obeys pretty much immediately when told to do something (pretty good for
a puppy his age!) It's sometimes easy to forget that he's still just a baby.
He's way to big to sit in a lap anymore so we lay down on the floor next to
him to give him the TLC that he needs to become the dog we want him to be.
He has started just recently to become very territorial which is good. That's
why we got him. He loves to play with my grandkids and even though he doesn't
realize how big he is he's quite carefull of them Carolyn has some pictures
that I'll try and have her e-mail to you. I'd like to have copies of the stuff
you have on his parents if you would be so kind as to send it to me. Thanks
so much!

HI there,
She sure is getting big, she's about 80 pounds I'd guess,
last trip to the vet to make sure heart worm preventative
dose was correct she was 70 lb.
I've ordered the special guide dog harness and handle so she
can start her training. She's doing just fabulous.
lots of energy just as a puppyu would have.
She lived for awhile with us in a motel room in Houston,
about a month it seemed as we were handling some business
there. She's well kennel trained, and on cold nights sleeps
with us.
Don't have digital camera, but we plan to send you some
pictures soon.
Regards,
Richard Webb,

Hello, Alyssa!! So so sorry for the very long delay. Here is Hawkeye Sides,
a great dog, good looking and great disposition. My next email will have his
neutering info. We use the Banfield Wellness plan for the 1st year puppy vaccinations
and neutering. You see his best friend in the pic, Cheyanne, she is 7, and
we also had her as a pup. These pics were taken a month or so ago, now the
grass is much greener, but we do have almost an acre fenced in for them. We
have them on Iams. We have a daughter that is almost 2 so we know Hawkeye
is great with kids. We also have a 5 yr old boy and 18 yr old daughter who
just moved out and a son (21) in Iraq. We all love our dogs! We also have
a cat who tolerates the dogs but Hawkeye still likes to "stalk"
him. We always have 2 dogs (preferably Rotties) and Hawkeye is probably the
most gorgeous and perfect that we have had.
Thanks!

Hi Alyssa,
Stash is doing great. He just graduated from Level 1 puppy classes. He weighs
about 60lbs now. He's still pretty feisty but he's getting better, he mostly
gets that way when he's overly tired or bored. We took him to the Humane Society
Walk for Animals today, he had a blast seeing all the other dogs. He is totally
crashed out right now. He is actually a really smart puppy, we just love him
to death!
The pic's are of Stash and the neighbors dog. He is way bigger than her now!
